Breast Enlargement - Aftercare

In-patient treatment is the rule. You should therefore expect to stay in the clinic for anywhere from one to three days. Possible bruises and swelling can be handled quickly and effectively. The dressing can be removed after a couple of days at the discretion of the patient. After removal, a special supportive bra should be worn to reduce the possible effects of gravity. This bra should be worn for the next three weeks. You should avoid bras that have a strong lifting effect on your breasts in the first three months after the procedure.¹²

The threads used for stitching can be removed after 10-14 days. In some cases, self-dissolving threads are used, thereby eliminating the need to have the stitches removed manually.¹³

You should avoid sports activities and strenuous physical exertions; your sexual partner should be very gentle with your new breast.¹⁴
