During the first 4-6 weeks after the operation, a support bra or an elastic bandage should be worn in order to aid the healing process and support the new position of the breasts. During this time period, sports activities should be avoided and strenuous physical demands should not be placed on the body. Generally speaking, you can get back to daily working life after about two weeks, provided it does not require heavy physical demands.15
