After treatment, you can generally leave the place of treatment immediately. To lessen swelling, you should cool the treated sites in the first hours after the injection and maintain upright body posture to the extent possible. The injection sites should not be massaged for approx. 6-8 hours, nor should the face be washed. On request, a check-up examination can be performed after about a week and additional amounts may be injected if necessary. There may sometimes be mild sensations of pressure under the eyebrows or in very rare cases a light headache. Both typically fade very quickly.^10,11
