Wrinkle Correction - Preparation

In a preparatory conversation with your doctor, you should clarify whether you are suitable for treatment using botolinum toxin, e.g. by an injection of Botox®. This is probably the case if you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, have allergies to certain ingredients in the solution, possess defective neuromuscular transmission abilities, or have local infections in the area of the injection.

Antibiotics may not be taken before or after the injection of botolinum toxin, e.g. by the application of Botox®. Anticoagulants such as aspirin must be discontinued 14 days prior to treatment.

Apart from these medical requirements, there are typically no further measures which need to be taken.
